General Information

 
For the 2018 General Election, there are three open seats on the Morongo Unified School District Board. The seats up for election are as follows:
One Board Member to Trustee Area #4 of the Board of Education of the Morongo Unified School District (Full term, through November, 2022)
One Board Member to Trustee Area #5 of the Board of Education of the Morongo Unified School District (Full term, through November, 2022)
One At-Large Board Member to fill the short-term, vacant position (Short term, through November, 2020; will convert to Area #2 in 2020)

 What are the timelines for this election? 
Important dates to know:
 July 16 - August 10, 2018 Candidate Filing Period. Candidates may request and file candidate filing documents in order to run for office
 August 10, 2018Deadline for Candidates to Withdraw -No candidate shall withdraw after this date for offices which do not have an extension period
 August 11 - August 15, 2018Candidate Filing Extension period - If an incumbent fails to file candidate filing documents by August 10, 2018, there will be a 5-calendar-day extension during which any candidate, other than the incumbent, may file 
 October 8-November 5, 2018Early Voting Period 
 November 6, 2018Election Day 
 December 6, 2018Deadline for the San Bernardino County Elections Office to certify election results
