Redfin is the next-generation real estate brokerage, combining our own full-service agents with modern technology to redefine real estate in the customer's favor. Founded in Seattle, Redfin expanded to San Francisco and now operates in cities across the U.S. from Los Angeles to Denver to Nashville to Pittsburgh.

Scholarship Details

This $2,500 scholarship is a way for Redfin to help one student on his or her journey through higher education. We’ve received applications from across the country including San DiegoLas VegasChicago and Miami!

Whether you reside on the west coast , are a proud east coaster or call somewhere else in the U.S. home, we want to hear from you!

For the May to July 31, 2018 session, answer the following question in 300-500 words:  

How do you think Gen Z and Millennials are changing the real estate industry? What do these generations value in housing that previous generations may not have? 
  • Legal U.S. resident
  • Eighteen years of age or older
  • Graduating high school senior or current freshman, sophomore, or junior in college attending an accredited university or college
  • Cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale

                      Students for Seniors Scholarship 

                                         Award Ammount:  $250

                                    Awards Available: 1


Alert1 is offering a $250 scholarship to a student attending an accredited U.S. college or university who wants to help seniors. To apply for this scholarship, follow the instructions below. Submit the online application form and answer the following three questions (under 300 words each):

  1. What is your experience with seniors?
  2. What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from seniors?
  3. How will you help seniors in your chosen career?

This scholarship competition is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing. We will award this scholarship to the applicant who best demonstrates:

  • A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics
  • A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare
