                                                   There are Multiple $1,000.00 scholarships available 
The CMC Southern California Edison STEM Scholarships are intended to encourage students to pursue careers in STEM fields. Several $1,000 scholarships are available to students pursuing an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Environmental Studies or Mathematics. Preference will be given to students preparing for transfer into a baccalaureate degree (B.S. or B.A.) program in science or mathematics. 
Eligibility Requirements: 
  1.  Two letters of recommendation. One (1) letter must be from a current or former teacher/instructor.

    In 2015, acknowledging the growing need for qualified addiction and mental health professionals to help those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders, AAC decided to launch an educational scholarship program to assist students who were enrolled in college programs in the area of Behavioral Health. We established our Behavioral Health scholarship awards to provide financial assistance that to would enable undergraduate and graduate students to pursue careers in the areas of behavioral health and addiction-related studies.

     The ABPA Harrington-Arthur Memorial Scholarship Essay Competition was established to reward students who seek to increase their knowledge and understanding of how Cross-Connection Control and Backflow Prevention help ensure safe drinking water. Backflow Prevention is designed to prevent dangerous - and sometimes fatal - bacteria, chemicals and other harmful agents from entering the local water supply systems. Backflow Prevention programs are essential to ensure that the water that reaches your home, school or place of business is as safe and pure as it was when it left the water treatment plant.
