 BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME:  Good luck to Mr. Gates and the boys’ basketball team when they travel to the Bell Center at Copper Mtn. College today, Thursday, January 23rd, for a 2:15 game against Twentynine Palms Junior High School.  Players will be dismissed at 1:15 to be ready to leave at 1:30.  Go Lions!!  Ms. Daly

GATE FIELD TRIP:  will be held tomorrow, Friday, January 24th, from 7:15a.m. – 6:30 p.m. to the CA Science Center.  Have a great time!  Ms. Daly

SATURDAY SCHOOL:  will be held this Saturday, January 25th from 8:00 – 12:15 in Room 33/34.  Lunch will be provided but parents and guardians must provide transportation.  Please call the school office by noon time on Friday to sign up your child.  Ms. Daly 

 2ND SEMESTER AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS, ACTIVITIES AND SPORTS:  The new list for 2nd Semester After School Clubs, Activities and Sports is now available.  The list will be posted in classrooms or you can pick up a copy in the office. It is also available on the LCMS website.  Permission forms must be signed by parents/guardians and turned in to the teacher running the club the 1st day you attend.  Permission forms are available in Student Services. All clubs and activities began Wednesday also today, Thursday, January 22nd and 23rd and will run from 2:00 – 3:45.  Late buses are available. Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer, Softball and Baseball will NOT be starting next week.  Those start dates will be posted in the bulletin when the time comes.  Ms. Daly

 WHALE WATCHING FIELD TRIP:  There will be a Whale Watching ASB Field Trip this Saturday, January 25th, from 7:00 – 4:00.  The cost is $30.00 with ASB and $35.00 without ASB.  A total of 47 tickets will be sold.  Tickets are on sale starting January 13th through January 24th or until they are all sold out.  Permission forms are available in the office.  Ms. Templeton, Mrs. Yakimow and Mrs. Hann

           ANIMAL SHELTER SUPPLY DRIVE:  Please donate to our Animal Shelter Supply Drive for our local animal shelter. We will accept blankets, sheets, towels, canned food, Comet, Ajax, soft scrub, toys, paper towels, cat and kitten food, trash bags, laundry detergent, sponges, Clorox wipes, etc. Also, make sure it is for cats and dogs.
