GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TRYOUTS:  will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, December 4th and December 5th in the MPR from 2:00 – 3:45.  Permission forms are available in Student Services. For those students who make the team, practices will be held every Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 – 3:45 and games will be held on January 16th at the Bell Center at Copper Mtn. College and on January 30th at Twentynine Palms Junior High. Good luck!   Coaches O’Grady and Stanford

 ESCAPE THE ROOM FAMILY INVOLVEMENT EVENT:  will be held on Friday, November 15th, starting at 5:00.  Join us for a night of puzzle, mystery, fun and food!  Hot dogs, chips and a drink will be served in the MPR after you “escape” the rooms.   Please RSVP no later than November 14th at 2:00 p.m.   Ms. Longueira, Family Involvement Coordinator

DEBATE WORKSHOP:  will be held on Saturday, November 16th starting at 8:00.  Go Lions!  Mr. Fuentes

SATURDAY SCHOOL:  will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 8:00 – 12:15 in Room 33/34.  Lunch is provided but parents must provide transportation.  Please call the office at 760-228-1802 to sign up.  Please sign up by noon time on Friday, 11/15, to be sure you get a free lunch.  Ms. Daly

             KNOTT’S BERRY FARM FIELD TRIP TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT: The bus will leave LCMS at 7:00 a.m. and return by 8:00 p.m.  Parents must provide transportation to and from LCMS.  Please pick up a permission slip in the Student Services office and have it signed by your parent for you to purchase a ticket.  Don’t forget that there are only 45 tickets available, and it is on a first come first served basis.  Mrs. Yakimow/Ms. Crawford/Ms. Templeton

WINTER WARMTH DRIVE has begun.  Between today and Nov. 15 bring in warm winter items that will go to the Way Station in Joshua Tree for our community homeless and people in need.  You may bring in small, new items such as socks, caps, gloves, scarves, and hand warmers.  Larger items in new or good, used condition such as sleeping bags, blankets, coats, jackets, or tents.  Boxes are provided in the school’s front office.  Your donation would be greatly appreciated.
