How do I connect my MUSD laptop to a Wifi network?


  1. Turn your device on.

  2. Connect your MUSD laptop to a Wifi network.

    1. If you see one of these images, you’re already connected and can skip to step 3. 

 or  

    1. If this is your first time signing into a MUSD laptop, you might see this image.


             

  • Click the globe icon to set up your connection for the first time.

  • Choose the network you want to connect to and enter your credentials.

  • Click the Connect button.


YOU MUST CONNECT TO THE INTERNET BEFORE LOGGING IN TO THE DEVICE FOR SINGLE SIGN ON TO BE AVAILABLE.


  1. Log in to your device using the school site provided username and password.

 

What if I don’t know my username and password?

 

Contact your school office.  They can provide your username and password.  You’ll use this same set of credentials to log in to your MUSD device, in to Google classroom and in to your student portal. Be prepared to provide identifying information as we endeavor to protect your FERPA rights. You can find your school contact info here. 

 
 

How do I log in to Google classroom?

  1. You should have this icon on your MUSD device desktop.


OR


  1. From the Morongo Unified School District Home page, click Resources, Student Resources, Single Sign On Portal.  This link will take you to a table of resources, including Google classroom, Office 365 and Clever.

      

What if I'm having trouble getting to Google classroom from my parent’s Chromebook?

Be sure the student has been added as a user on the Chromebook using their MUSD credentials (username and password).  Google offers these instructions to make that happen.
