Make the Most of Your Library - Read, Read, and Read!

It's important to make sure you spark your imagination by reading books for pleasure in order to be creative in your thinking and to have empathy for others because you share in the writer's experience.  Reading books is one of the most paramount experiences of childhood because it helps you understand the world you're living in.Our library has a level playing field when it comes to obtaining information and learning.  Our library offers a wide variety of information to aid students in progressive thought, a safe oasis, and a space for friends who want to study together and accomplish school tasks.
The Falcon library wants to inspire you to read while supporting your learning, literacy, and intellectual freedom.

ABOUT TPJHS LIBRARY

The Falcon Library is open every school day from 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  The library is open to all students at lunchtime for reading, book return and check-out, computer use, textbook use, doing homework, grade check, and/or just hanging out.

Students can check out up to five books at a time, but only two from the same author, series, or genre at the same time.  Students can check out books for two weeks and renewing is encouraged.  Students can also place a checked-out book on hold, renew several times, and not worry about late fees.

The library has 28 student computers, 3 electronic card catalogs for students' use, and a color printer.  It also has 3 sets of World Book encyclopedias.

Our collection is updated, with most of the new arrivals suggested by our very own students.  We have at least 14 new books added to our collection every month from Junior Library Guild and Follett.

Make sure to spend time at our library during lunch or make the best use of your time in the library when you visit with your classes by choosing some great books to read!
