WHAT DOES READING DO FOR YOU?

Reading provides a fabulous escape, reams of knowledge, armchair traveling, and cultural awareness.  Most importantly, readers are more likely to succeed.  Reading books is one of the most important experiences of childhood so make sure to challenge yourself by reading more and more of the best of old and new books, from classics to picture books.  Come to our library and choose from all the different books available that tap directly into what arouses your attention.  Have fun reading!

If reading isn't your favorite thing to do, broaden your literary horizons by starting with looking at comic or joke books; the few sentences on each page make reading more enjoyable.  A sports fan may enjoy the sports page of a newspaper.  Readers would be best off choosing books they are comfortable with and interested in before they can branch out and explore new areas of literature.

BOOK CHECKOUT PROCEDURES

Students may check out five library books at a time with a two week circulation window and may be renewed several times.  There are no late fees for overdue books.
