Trojan Bulletin - May 9, 2022; Day 158

STUDENTS:   May 19 is the last day for late activities and late buses. 
Students, as a reminder, no third party food deliveries are allowed per the YVHS Student Handbook. Students may not bring in drinks or food to share with their friends. Parents may only bring food for their student per the MUSD Wellness Policy. 
SATURDAY SCHOOL: Students, your next opportunity to clear one full day of absence will be Saturday, May 21. To sign up, scan any of the Saturday School posters on campus or sign up in the Attendance Office before 8:00 am on Thursday, May 19. 
Summer School registration has started through ParentVue. Registration ends May16. Students will register for their current grade level, not the grade level they are going into next year. Summer School will be held at La Contenta Middle School. The first day is June 21. 
CTE Night: YVHS CTE Night is on Monday, May 9. This is a night designed to help YVHS students and parents learn more about Career Technical Education opportunities offered at our school and in our district. It will be in the YVHS Gym at 6:00 pm. Snacks and refreshments will be served, and the event is open to all students and parents interested in finding out more about our CTE program. Hope to see you there!

Dual Enrollment/AP Night: The YVHS Counseling Department is hosting a Dual Enrollment and AP Night for students and families interested in finding out more about our Dual Enrollment and AP Programs. The event will be on Friday, May 20 at 6:00 pm in the YVHS Library. Pizza and refreshments will be served. This event is open to students and parents interested in taking AP and Dual Enrollment courses next year.
