School Site Council

School Site Council

The School Site Council (SSC) of Yucca Valley Elementary is comprised of 12 members including 4 parents, 
4 teachers, 1 DELAC representative, 1 classified employee, assistant principal, and principal.  Parent and 
Classified members are elected to serve three year terms and may serve consecutive terms. Teachers
 are elected to serve two year terms and may serve consecutive terms.  Parents are elected to serve three
 year terms. All parents, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to attend the monthly 
meetings of our SSC. They are usually held from 4:00pm-5:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month
 (except for holidays). The School Site Council works together and approves the following items:
lSingle School Plan for Student Achievement
lSite Budget
lComprehensive School Safety Plan

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, School Site Council meetings will take place via Zoom. Please email Ms.
