Federal Emergency Broadband Benefit

FCC just sent important email below about the COVID-19 Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program for Low-Income Households approved in December 27, 2020 Stimulus.

Telecoms/Internet Service Providers are being asked by the FCC to sign up now to elect to offer their customers the EBB Benefit.

The FCC website provides information for all Internet Service Providers (ISPs), including Telecoms, Cable Providers, and Electrical Coops on how to sign up to offer the EBB Benefit to their customers.

The FCC EBB Program provides eligible Low-Income Households a $50 a month discount for Monthly Broadband Service ($75/month for Tribal Land Households), as well as a $100 discount on Devices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
