Bullying Reporting Form

While we work diligently to prevent bullying, and to work for positive behaviors, there are occasions when students and their families experience pervasive negative and unwanted behaviors from other students. If you believe your student is being bullied, please reach out to the school but also complete the MUSD Bully Complaint Form: Bullying_complaint_form.pdf

MUSD Cell Phone/Device Policy

Morongo Unified School District implemented a cell phone/electronic device policy, which goes into effect this school year 2025-26. While the new policy is first geared toward the junior high and high school students, the elementary schools fall under the general guidelines, pursuant to the Phone-free Schools Act. The general overview has not changed for Oasis.

Upon Arrival at School:

  1. Turn off and put personal electronic devices away before entering the gate (this includes the main gates and the bus riders entering through the bus gate). At Oasis, this means that devices, which are discouraged from being on school site, should be in a backpack. In short, we should not know that you have a device.

Students are responsible for arriving at school and class on time with their personal electronic devices turned off and put away.

End of the School Day:

  1. Students may access their personal electronic devices at the end of the school day.

  2. The end of the school day begins when a student exits the school grounds. For bus riders, you may not use your phone/device while at school and waiting for the bus. For students in ELOP, you should not use your phone/device until you leave the school grounds after ELOP.

Students are permitted to use their personal electronic device upon leaving the school campus, unless attending an extracurricular activity or program sponsored by the school or district.

Unmet Expectations & Consequences

The following actions violate the Personal Electronic Device Implementation Agreement and will result in disciplinary consequences:

  • Using or displaying personal electronic devices during the school day, including during school/district sponsored activities or programming.

  • Keeping a personal electronic device powered on during the school day, including during school or district-sponsored activities or programming

ELOP After School Program

EXPANDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM

We are excited to continue offering ELOP After-school care and enrichment this year! The ELOP After-school programming will run similar to last year, and enrollment numbers are contingent upon our student to staff ratios to maintain a safe and effective program. We are excited to have Mr. Eugene returning as our ELOP Facilitator for Oasis!

ELOP is offered from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 1:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

You must enroll your child through Synergy / ParentVue to be considered for placement in ELOP.  PLEASE wait until your enrollment is confirmed before changing any of your childcare plans.

There is no charge for this after-school program, however, we must maintain an 85% attendance rate to ensure grant funding.

We look forward to great fun and learning with ELOP!
