STUDENTS

Just a reminder that the Junior Class is hosting a Valentine’s Breakfast to help raise money for prom. Join us on February 21 at the Elks Lodge on Yucca Trail from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are fifteen dollars, and yes, that includes good food and good vibes. Grab your friends, grab a date, or just come hungry. It’s Valentine’s themed, so expect all the cute energy. Tickets are being sold by ASB members and will also be available the day of the event. Don’t miss out!

Valentine’s Grams are being sold during lunch starting at two dollars on Thursday, February 5th to Thursday, February 12th next week. Impress your crush, confuse your friends, or just be iconic. Stop by and get one!

Students, please, do not park in any staff parking lots. If you have a parking pass, please use the student parking lot. If you’re arriving to school late or if you don’t have a first period, please come up to the office to make arrangements to have the gate open before your 2nd period. If you’re late, parking on the street is your option. Thank you.

The Miss Yucca Valley pageant will be held this Saturday, February 7, at 6pm. We encourage you all to come and support your fellow peers who are currently participating in the program. Tickets will be sold at the door, $10 for students, $20 for adults, and free for sophomore girls. Please remember to bring your student ID.  Thank you.

Don't forget to turn in you PRIDE tickets in F5 to be entered to win the monthly free lunch from Castaneda's! The PBIS Incentive store will be open this Friday in front of the cafeteria. Turn in your PRIDE tickets for some awesome prizes. Keep up the great work Trojans!

The 29 Palms Historical Society is inviting high school students in the Morongo Unified School District to participate in the inaugural Desert Rat Convention “Excellence In Art” Juried Student Exhibition, an opportunity for area high school students to reflect upon life in the hi-desert, our surroundings and the impact of the environment. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to create and submit one original artwork per student, in a medium of their choosing. Entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form. Pick one up in the front office.

Seniors, cap and gown orders will end Feb 15. If you need to order still, you can do so at Jostens.com.

Our next Saturday School is scheduled for Saturday, February 7. Saturday School is an excellent way for students to recoup absences, get off the no go list as well as use the time to catch up on any missing work. One session of Saturday School clears one full absence. Please sign up with the Attendance Office to reserve your spot.
