Twentynine Palms High School proudly revived its Hall of Fame on Friday, May 16, with the induction of three alumni who have made lasting contributions to their community and careers.
The Hall of Fame, first launched in 1991, recognizes Wildcat graduates who exemplify leadership, service and achievement. The last induction was in 2016, but this year marked a return to tradition with plans for the program to continue every other year.
The 2025 honorees are Daniel Mintz, Kevin Cole and Ariella (Daigneault) Roberts, each representing a different path but sharing a deep connection to their hometown roots.
Mintz, Class of 1975, has lived in Twentynine Palms since 1967 and dedicated decades to local service. A longtime football announcer, youth coach, Elks Club member and three-time mayor, Mintz continues to support the community and set an example for young people in the area.
Cole, Class of 1986, is a former Wildcat athlete and CIF-winning basketball coach who went on to become mayor and a steady presence in youth development. He created a spring league to give kids a safe and active outlet, often helping students personally by providing meals and attending their milestones.
Roberts, a 1999 graduate and valedictorian who now serves in a senior executive role at Disney Entertainment Television, reflected on what growing up in Twentynine Palms taught her.
“Nobody ever told me, ‘You’re from Twentynine Palms, you can’t do that.’ You’re from Twentynine Palms, you can do whatever you want to do,” she said.
Roberts attended USC before building a successful career in marketing and brand synergy across Disney+, ABC, Disney Channel and National Geographic.
“This Hall of Fame isn’t just about honoring the past,” said Principal Mike Ruggiero. “It’s about showing our students what’s possible when you commit to your goals, stay grounded and give back to others.”
Congratulations to Daniel Mintz, Kevin Cole and Ariella Roberts on their well-deserved induction into the Twentynine Palms High School Hall of Fame.
