Morongo Unified School District invites students and families to attend its annual Resource Day on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the MUSD Professional Development Center, located at 6061 Sunburst Ave. in Joshua Tree.
The free community event is designed to help families prepare for the upcoming school year by providing essential school supplies and connecting them with valuable local resources.
Students attending the event will have access to:
Free backpacks and school supplies donated by the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians
Food boxes provided by the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC)
On-site dental kits provided by the Morongo Basin Healthcare District
Information about back-to-school immunizations, physicals, and other student support services
Additional community resources from local partner organizations
The event is made possible through the generous support of community partners, including the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County, Morongo Basin Healthcare District and more.
